Dry eye syndrome is a common condition that occurs when your tears aren't able to provide adequate lubrication for your eyes. This makes them feel tired and/or gritty.
This can frequently be due to deficiency in your tear film, and can be called Dry Eye, even though your eyes can constantly be watery!

Dry Eye is chronic and progressive, so your symptoms will reoccur and worsen if not treated. For this reason it is important for Dry Eye to be diagnosed and managed correctly.
